Update Procedure

3. Make sure that the following message appears on Front Panel.

If the version is not “1.01/07615L,” DO NOT carry out upgrade with this tool. The upgrade will cause the unit to no longer operate properly until FW is correctly reloaded.

4. Double click "Update.exe" in the folder extracted from "App_Updater_905.zip.”

If an error message like “MSCOMM32.OCX is missing" appears, a set of missing files needs to be installed.Go to FIRMWARE UPDATE -3.

Preparation for Update (Main)

1. Personal computer(PC) with Windows XP or 20002. Cable: RS232 straight cable3. Writing soft: "App_Updater_905.zip" Unzip this file in advance. (File name depends on the version.) If VB6 Runtime is not installed in the PC, go to FIRMWARE UPDATE -3 first.

1. While the target unit is unplugged, connect the unit and PC with RS232 straight through cable. 2. Holding down [Enter], plug AC cord of the target unit.

7. Make sure that the writing starts.

9. Unplug, plug the unit again, and turn it on. Confirm that the unit has successfully been upgraded by holding down [DISPLAY] and then pressing [STANDBY/ON]. e.g.

8. Wait until the writing completes and the unit is automatically turned off. WARNING: Never turn off the unit during writing. If power is accidentally turned off due to power outage etc., “MainUpdate Mode” will appear when the power is turned on next time. Carry out the upgrade from the beginning.

6. Click "Main Update in the window.

5. Make sure that a COM port to which RS232 straight cable is connected is correctly selected.

This information will appear whenthe click of [Main Update] is accepted.

Installation Procedure

3. Install the software by following instructions that will appear step by step on the window. If “App_Updater_905.zip” has already been unzipped in “Preparation for Update” in FIRMWARE UPDATE -1, return to Step 1 of Update Procedure.

5. Return to Step 1 of Update Procedure in FIRMWARE UPDATE -1.

4. Find “Firmware” folder which has been created in the folder where the software has been installed. Copy “SR875” folder from “Setup_Updater905E” to under the “Firmware” folder.

1. Exit from every running application software. 2. Double click "setup.exe" in the folder extracted from "Setup_Updater905E.zip.”
