- FAQ Engagement Session: - Men: Guys make sure you match the overall “feel”

of your girl’s outfit. If she’s wearing a dress, make yourself look a little nicer. If she’s rockin’ some jeans and fashion boots then dress yourself up a little with a snazzy tie and nice leather shoes. Nice dark jeans, nice shoes, collared shirt and a loose tie. A jacket to finish it off.

- Women: Nice jeans, paired with a dressy top,

splashes of color or patterns, funky jewelry and high heels. (or cute dress). A cute cocktail dress is always a good way to go. Jazz up your outfit with a cute pair of heels or a funky necklace (or cute purse!).

(note: if you’re going to be wearing high heels, also bring some more comfortable flip-flops or slip-ons with you for walking).

- For Both: Don’t over do it with the patterns. Solid,

dark colors are the most flattering. Colors can match in each of your outfits but one thing to remember is they don’t have to be the exact same color. The same color family would work well too (example: bold purple and light purple) or the girl can wear a blue dress and the boy can wear a blue shirt with a sports jacket over it . We approach each event, whether it be a wedding, engagement session, or portrait, with care and creativity, creating imagery that's timeless, but never traditional. Our goal is to provide you with not only the highest quality and most vibrant photographs, but also the best possible experience.

Each of us views the world around us with a particular colored lens. We allow that lens to inform how we interpret what we see. Some people view the world as a dangerous and dark place, others as place of limitless beauty and others miss the world all together. The way we view the world often depends on how we were taught to view it. Our view of the beauty of the world was also formed from childhood. We grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Our home was filled with laughter and love. Our parents exposed us to the beauty and wonder of the world and encouraged us to discover as we grew.

Around the age of thirteen Jamie discovered National Geographic. He could often be found wandering the woods and neighborhoods with his camera looking for opportunities to capture the beauty of nature like the photojournalists that he admired.

From a young age Christine dreamed of the day that she would be married. She collected magazines filled with wedding dresses and beautiful cakes. Little did she know that one day she would be working as the COO to an award winning videography company, be the CEO of a photo album company (Evenswood Albums) and a blog set focusing on the main areas of a woman’s life (Weddings, Home and Garden, Babies, and Kids)- BlissFull Essence.com

Together Jamie and Christine decided to combine their love for photography and their knowledge of weddings to create Bella Via Photography. Their desire is to capture the feeling and emotion that accompanies the biggest events of life, so that you can relive the emotions each time you pick up those timeless photos.

Frequently Asked Questions:What are we suppose to wear for the Portrait/ Engagement Sessions?

- Portrait Session: - Family: You can either be a “matching” family and all have

one color that is in some part of each of your outfits. Another option is for you to have a “theme” to your outfits. For example, girl(s) have cow girl boots on and a cute dress and the boy(s) can have jeans on with a nice button down shirt on.

- Maternity: Wear an outfit that allows you to show off

your belly! Please bring two-three outfits and we will take both shots of you and your belly and then some with your husband! Note: We do not do any photos with nudity.

- Baby: Baby sessions are a lot of fun! Think of cute outfits

for your baby. We love photographing babies in “thick” stripes, solid colors, poke-a dot outfits. Also, consider what your child’s favorite toys is so that we can photograph him or her with it.

- Engagement Session: (Please see the engagement section above) Things Not to Wear

- Bright white matching shirts and Khakis- Tops with big logos or a lot of writing on them – keep it clean and classy.- Shirts with short hemlines and mid-drifts. Dress for your shape.- Super Short skirts.- Exact matching outfits. Look coordinated, not matching. White shirts and jeans don’t have much personality and your engagement session is your time to let your personality shine.

Fun Additions for the shoots:

- Sunglasses- A “Thank You” or “Save the Date” sign on a poster-board for personalized thank you and save the date cards. Remember: it’s always great to get your engagement photos out there for everyone to see!- Instruments you play- Skateboards- Balloons (or one big balloon!)- Hats- Your favorite cool couch or chair (Yeah, I’ll tote around some furniture for your awesome session)- Anything else that makes your relationship unique or that is special to you.

Makeup and Hair:

Are you having your makeup done for your wedding?  Then why wouldn’t you want to get it done for your engagement session? It is always great to have a professional when you can (that’s why you’ve hired me!). So in order to add that extra “oomf!” to your session get your hair and makeup did ladies! We are sure you are absolutely wonderful at doing it yourself on a day-to-day basis. But a professional will know what photographs best and how to make you look perfect-o for your magical engagement session that you will be looking at for years to come. If you are worried about cost you can always arrange to have your makeup trial done on the same day of your engagement session, two birds one stone!

Payment Installments: Deposit Policy: Bella Via Photography requires

deposits to be made in two separate installments: 1. First installment: The first installment in the amount of 50% of the total balance as set forth in the Agreement will be tendered along with the signed AGREEMENT. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to the services contracted. 2. Second installment: The remaining balance as set forth in the

AGREEMENT will be due on the friday, 2 weeks before, the contracted services approved by the CLIENT arrives.

-We will work with you as the client to determine the session locations. After we

look around the locations that you.

How long will you keep the photos after the wedding? -We will keep the photos after the wedding on a CD or hard drive for a year

after you have received the final proofs.

How will I receive my photographs:- We will be giving you the option to either receive your photographs, after they

are processed, electronically on either a DVD (price included), on a new ipad (for an additional charge of $800) or thumb drive.

What will I have to pay for, when all is said and done? - You will be paying for your session, along with a sales tax if you live in PA or

NJ (PA 6% and NJ 7%). There is also a shipping and handling cost of $20. Beyond that there would be additional costs if you choose additional services or products.

I just had my engagement and wedding session and I would like to have you do an anniversary and maternity session. If I get multiply sessions with Bella Via Photography will I get a discount price on my maternity session? - You will receive a discount on the remaining sessions purchased if a Engagement and Wedding sessions were purchased. - Other discounts are available when we book those you have referred (ask for details).

Frequently Asked Questions:What will happen after the Session:

- Weddings: - We will contact you following the wedding with some of the

perfected photos. - Then after we will post the photos on a password protected website for you view them. - Within the two and a half months following your wedding you will receive an online proofing of your wedding album.- Once the album layout and colors are approved, we will print the album and mail it to you.

- Portraits/ Engagement- After the engagement session has commenced we will contact

you with perfected images on a password protected website. Once “approved” you will receive a copy of the photos.

“What does the average timeline look like?”- Portraits:

- Locations: locations will be predetermined before the shoot. - Dress: Please be sure to let us know the color scheme of your dress 1

week before the shot.

- Engagements: - One week before:

- Locations: Will be determined

- Clothing choices: Please be sure to let us know the color scheme of your dress 1 week before the shoot.

- Props: Props are always a must! having some really fun props like balloons ( or a large balloon!)... see engagement “must haves.” above.

** We will have to know the props that you would like to bring for the purpose of setting up the shots

- The day of.... - We will contact you before the day of the shoot to talk about

where we will meet. We will meet you at the first location with a photo plan.

- Wedding: After the completion of the contract we will start the process of the

timeline! - 2 months before your wedding we will do a run through with a tentative schedule. - 1 month before your wedding we will do a walk-thru of the wedding locations. We will contact your wedding planner at this time, if you have one. - 2 weeks before your wedding we will solidify the schedule and will check to see where everyone will be on the day of the wedding.

- The day before: We will be at the rehearsal as to see where everyone will be on the day of.

- Day of Schedule:

- Pre-ceremony:- Getting Ready Photos: On the day of your wedding

we will take some “getting ready” photos of the bride and groom.

- If you plan not to see each other we will take shots of the bride with bridesmaids and her parents 1 hour before the ceremony.

- Ceremony photos: - During the ceremony, various pictures will be taken from various

angles (dependent on the facilities).

- Post- ceremony photos:

- Following the ceremony there will be pictures of the bride and groom for 45 minutes and the bridal party for 15 minutes. There will also be family pictures for at least 10 minutes. - Photos of the bridal party and families will be taken following the ceremony which will last from 3a0 min to 1 hr.

- Reception photos:

- Please let us know if there will be any special photos that you would like taken at the reception.

- After the wedding:

-Within 2 months of the wedding you will receive your photo proofs via the web. Once 5 of your pictures are chosen out of the photo proofs we will start on the album layout. (Please ask for details)
