I. Job Identification
Position/Job Title: Jr. Planning Analyst

II. Purpose of the Job
Assists the AVP – SMD Head and the Sr. Planning Analyst in administering strategic / operational planning cycles wherein heads of the various responsibility centers reconsider and refine their strategic and operational plans, as well as their respective Balanced Scorecards (BSC’s)
III. Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
List major & minor tasks, duties & responsibilities in order of importance.
1.Assists in coordinating the process of reviewing and validating the strategic and operational plans developed by the heads of the different responsibility centers, including their respective balanced scorecards
2.
Assists in the development of pro-forma/sample strategic and operational plans, including the balanced scorecards, for all responsibility centers
3.Helps the SMD Head and the Sr. Planning Analyst in assisting managers at all levels crystallize the strategic issues to be addressed
4.Helps conduct scenario planning and analysis
5.Helps the SMD Head and the Sr. Planning Analyst in assisting the top management develop creative but feasible strategic action plans.
6.Helps put in formal, written form top management strategic plan
7.Assists in disseminating information, data and reports on the strategic performance of the company (at the corporate, business and functional levels)
8.Undertakes pre-feasibility studies on the various projects/programs to be pursued prior to inclusion in the strategic and operational plans
9.Helps the SMD Head and the Sr. Planning Analyst in notifying the responsibility centers concerned about any significant changes/developments in the external and internal environments that may necessitate revisions of the strategic and/or operational plans
10 Assist in the holding of strategic/operations planning conferences, seminars and
workshops

V. Minimum Qualifications Required
Educational AttainmentGraduate of Business Management/Administration courses from reputable schools, colleges or universities (preferably with some MBA units)
ExperienceExperience is an advantage but not required.
KnowledgeUnderstanding of the preparation of strategic / operational plans, BSC’s and other related studies and reports
Personal AbilitiesFlexible, creative, able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
Work Related SkillsWith good command of the English language both written and oral. With strong analytical skills
Other personal characteristics With pleasing personality, decisive and able to relate with different levels especially the top management
