We are offering our One-on-One Partnering™ system, which schedules about 50,000 biotech partnering meetings a year, freely for outreach, meeting scheduling

https://www.bio.org/bio-meeting-space-jpm-2017. Why use BIO meeting space? We offer meeting booths, not open tables. This gives you some privacy. Also:

• It’s inexpensive and may be free for BIO members. Go to https://bio.org/JPM for details.

• Don’t count on meeting in hotel lobbies unless you have pre-paid. Many hotels in San Fran charge to have meetings in their lobbies during JPM. This

started in 2015, expanded in 2016, and will expand more in 2017.

• Be careful when booking meeting space with online brokers (e.g. Liquid Space). Liquid Space and other online meeting space booking sites are great.

However sometimes the entity that’s listing space (e.g. a hotel) has already booked their space for JPM through another channel, and forgets to mark

the space as unavailable during JPM on the online broker’s site. In such a case, the online broker’s site will allow you to book the space, however the

booking will be canceled in a few days, and then the meeting space that you thought you had is gone. So if you book space through an online meeting

space broker, only consider the space ‘confirmed’ after you make contact with the lister and verify that your booked space is actually available.

• Sometimes even friends/connections of employees and partners cannot be invited.

• Please be sensitive to your friends/connections at the large pharmas who may not be able to invite you even if they want to do so.
