EE&C Guidelines for Malaysian Industries Background:

The government through its cooperation with Japan government under the GPP (Green Partnership Programme) has included energy benchmarking as one of its main programme agenda

PTM under the Malaysian Industrial Energy Efficiency Improvement Project (MIEEIP) took up the role to develop the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Guidelines as an enhancement to the existing Benchmarking programme.

The development of the guidelines was kicked off with assistance from JETRO and ECCJ, which dispatched experts to guide and review the guideline development.

Energy Commission is taking the role roles of steering the development and publishing the guidelines.
