I am sure that we can all relate to this. The stress of getting everything done before Memorial Day

can really take its toll; even in the months following, we stay busy and stress can be a factor. To avoid

this kind of chaos, here’s what we suggest……Stay Calm, make sure to take breaks, stay calm and focused,

stay calm, don’t forget to ask for help when you need it, and finally—stay calm. We hope that as the

summer progresses, we all remember we are a team and our goal is to provide the best service we can

for your families. Please never hesitate to give us a call for help.

My daughter, Jessica (aka

Boots) has been on an All Star

Cheer team for the past three

years. Her last performance of

the season was on April 6 & 7

at the Anaheim Convention

Center in California and I had

the privilege of being able to

travel with her team and

watch her perform. The name

of her cheer club is Wolfpack

Athletics in Gresham, OR and

her team name is Kenai. They were in the Small Gym Large Junior Level 2 category

and their team placed third. CONGRATULATIONS for a job

well done and a lot of hard work, drama, tears, sore

muscles (and did I say drama) over the past season. Her

team consisted of 9-15 year old girls (she is 15). We are

now gearing up for a new season in which she has been

placed on a Level 2 and a Level 3 team. We are looking

forward to many more hours of gym time and lots of

competitions. Their big end of the year competition will

be in Dallas, TX this coming season. I have been dragged

kicking and screaming into being a “Cheer Mom” but have

loved every minute of it, and the waiting in hard metal

chairs with lots of screaming boys & girls along with

parents for that very special 2 ½ minutes to see her

perform is so worth it.

On a side note Boots was able to meet up with her birth

mother and birth father along with three half siblings in

Anaheim which was the highlight of her trip. She had

never met two of her half siblings and had only met one of

her half-sisters about 10 years ago. They were all at her

performance which made the trip even more special.

Since most of your revenue sources are being usurped by cremation here’s an idea. We have
