Update from ICS Standards Committee The BACCN continues to forge links with the Intensive Care Society (ICS). Representatives from the BACCN contribute to clinical standards that the ICS produce. A number of standards are being uploaded onto the ICS website: renal replacement; venous thrombophylaxis; management of patients following cardiac arrest. Work in progress continues within the clinical areas of sedation; carbon dioxide monitoring; monitoring of neuromuscular blockade. Guidelines for reporting critical incidents in critical care.
