Did you know? According to the Greeting Card Association, American consumers purchase approximately 7 billion greeting cards each year. In the UK, a typical year sees over 2 billion cards sold. Between just those two countries, if the purchased cards were aligned end-to-end, they would stretch around the world 54 times! In the USA, those 7 billion greeting cards means approximately 2.5 million trees are cut down. Make your own Christmas cards Pull out the old magazines, glue sticks, paints and colored paper/printer paper! Get your kids to find adorable or funny images from the magazines, then cut out little santa hats from the pages with red print on them! Sweet and simple! Family Challenge! We challenge you to make your own cards for the year of 2021! Start this holiday with some funky finger painted or magazine collage cards! We have made it easy for you and put together a Pinterest board with all the ideas and inspiration you need. By creating your own creative greeting cards out of recycled materials, you are reducing your impact on the environment and saving money!
