This week was packed full of pirate fun! We learned how pirates talk; we read lots of pirate books and completed comprehension and story element activities to go with them. Our favorite was “Pirate Pete”! We wrote about being a pirate after reading Pirates Don’t take Baths , a book about what pirates do and don’t do and made our own special pirate. We practiced our directional skills by writing directions to our treasure chest on a map.
