The Glen Ellyn Public Library w ill hold a formal ribboncutting ceremony in partnership w ith the Glen EllynChamber of Commerce to celebrate its completedrenovation project on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at 11 a.m.Local businesses, government agencies, andcommunity members are invited to attend. Plasticconstruction hats and rubber construction duckies w illbe given to children at the event.

The library’s Phase III remodel installed a new cafe anddrive-up w indow , updated the entrance and lobby area,improved public meeting rooms and restrooms, andconsolidated the Circulation w orkspace. Totalexpenditures for the project w ere under budget. Date: Saturday, January 12

KIDS Urgent CareGrand Opening

Our mission provide the highest quality urgentcare for children in the friendliest familyenvironment. We are a staff of friendly, pediatrictrained providers including board certifiedpediatricians and nurse practitioners waiting totreat your little one! We will be open from 9 AM to9 PM every day of the year.

Services Treat acute issues for patients lessthan 1 and up to 21 years old. Treatments includesick visits, injuries, and pain. We provide labwork, x-rays, and sport physicals. Online bookingis available for fast and easy admittance.

The fist 50 guests each day will receive a swagbag! We will have a balloon artist, facepainting, food and fun! Date: January 12th & 13th

Potholes w ill be f illed as soon as crew sare available. Please note that Glen Ellyn is notresponsible for State and County roadw ays w ithinVillage limits. Any potholes on these roadw ays can bereported to IDOT or DuPage County DOT.Community members using YouGov can convenientlyreport non-emergency issues (any emergency shouldstill be communicated to 911) and service requestsusing the w eb or a smartphone. Requests for servicemay also include streetlights, sidew alk issues, blockedcatch basins, among others.
