Bureau Accepting 2013 Event Submissions Is your organization or business hosting an event in 2013? Let us help you promote it! The bureau compiles a master calendar of events for the Greater Parkersburg area that is posted to GreaterParkersburg.com and is continuously updated. Our staff also uses the calendar to answer questions from callers and visitors who stop in at the CVB Visitor Center in downtown Parkersburg.
For an activity to be listed on the master calendar, the following criteria must be met:
• Event information must be submitted in writing or online.
• Verbal information cannot be accepted.
• The event must take place in Wood County or surrounding counties.
• The event must be open to the general public.
The bureau will list any event meeting the above criteria on our master calendar and website, but only events sponsored by a bureau member will include a description and be included in our various publications.
