Rudy K. Richards, age 35, was shot in the head December 24, 1997, in front of his home in the 800 block of Division Street.
Richards was gunned down moments after leaving his home. Police found him on the sidewalk.

Bernadine Webster, age 89, was killed by unknown intruder(s) on August 14, 2003. Minutes before her lifeline emergency pendant was activated, a strange car was observed parked in the grass of her rural home. The first-responder neighbor found her unconscious. She died five days later without regaining consciousness. Death was due to a severe blow to the chest.

Keyla Weddel, age 33, was a well known and well loved member of the Medora community in rural Jackson county. Keyla lived in a mobile home located behind her mother and father’s residence in Medora. Kelya was last seen alive in the evening hours of August 17, 1988. Keyla Weddel was murdered in the overnight or morning hours between August 17 and August 18, 1988. Keyla Weddel’s lifeless body was discovered in her mobile home by her mother in the morning hours of August 18, 1988. It was discovered that Keyla had been bludgeoned to death in her bedroom.

Clifford Smith, age 24, was reported missing by his wife on November 4, 1982. His body was found approximately one month later by trappers in a bayou near the White River north of Seymour, Indiana. Clifford Smith died of gunshot wounds.

Karen Jo Smith, age 35, was last seen at 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2000, at her residence wearing blue jeans and a gray I.U. sweatshirt–possibly wearing a black hooded leather coat with gold satin lining. Karen’s ex-husband, Steve Halcomb, was convicted December 15, 2004 of murder. Steve Halcomb is now serving 95 year’s.
Karen’s remains have never been found.

On July 7, 1989, the body of William Montgomery, a 53-year-old taxi cab driver from Louisville, Kentucky was found shot to death along the side of the road in rural southern Washington count. The victim’s yellow taxi was abandoned about one mile from the homicide scene. It’s believed that a black, late 1980’s model Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen near the murder scene, could have been involved in this crime. The stolen vehicle was recovered in the Youngstown Shopping Center parking lot in Jeffersonville, IN.

Debra Ann Wilhite, age 19, was last seen at her place of employment, a restaurant in the vicinity of the 6800 block of Highway 41 North. Her vehicle is also missing and described as a green 1966 Ford Galaxy, two door hard top with Indiana vehicle registration 26B2953.

Eva Hale was 79 years old when she disappeared from the Marco Cemetery in Greene County Indiana, on September 15, 1996. Eva was visiting her brother’s grave when she went missing. Eva’s vehicle was found at the Marco Cemetery.

Audra Page was found missing from her home in Pleasantville, Indiana on July 9, 1996. Audra’s body was located 4 days later on July 13th, south of Bloomfield, Indiana in the Richland Creek, near the Covered Bridge. Audra was 88 years old and believed to have been forced from her home.

On June 17, 2002, 46- year old Nancy Lyon’s vehicle, a red 1993 Nissan was located unoccupied at the intersection of county road 700 West and 500 North in Rush County. On October 2, 2002 her remains were discovered on county road 1000 East, between county roads 200 South and 300 South in Bartholomew County.

On August 20, 2005, 20-year old, William Sircy was found shot in the 7300 block of Mariner Way. William later died of his injuries. He was shot by a black male, who goes by the name, “Little Mike.”
