The Broker


The Delivering Partner will:I. Direct and coordinate the curriculumII. Provide all instruction including employment of approved teaching personnelIII. Make all academic and curricular decisions pertaining to professional accreditation,

faculty assignments, grading standard, and other similar mattersIV. Grant the certificate/degree to successful graduates of the programV. Monitor quality assurance

The Host Partner may:I. Assist with Marketing the community college curriculaII. Process student enrollments for the curriculum through the delivering partnerIII. Provide other student support servicesIV. Maintain classrooms, labs and all equipment and upgrade as necessary for successful

delivery including IVDL, transmission, and other servicesV. Recommend instructors

The Brokering Partner may:I. Facilitate partnership development and endeavorII. Provide access to marketing toolkitIII. Provide consultation on partnership agreements, revenue sharing, resource sharing

and capacity buildingIV. Present financial services/agreementsV. Monitor quality assurance

Partnership Revenue Sharing Agreement

• Provides Flexibility based on the participation of each partner

• The Delivery Partner provides remuneration to the Host Partner for each student enrolled in courses provided by the Delivery Partner


The Formula:

• 25% of Tuition Revenue Plus

• 25% of State Share of Instruction (SSI) Based on OBOR Models used to calculate FTE

• For Internet courses, remuneration is 15%


Phased in over a period of Three Years

Year 1: 25% of Tuition Revenue

Year 2: 25% of Tuition Revenue, Plus 12.5% of SSI

Year 3: And each year after, 25% of the Tuition Revenue and SSI
