§ Four first year sections with approximately 80 students per section.

§ First year legal communication and research skills program (LComm) has small classes (20) and emphasizes practice readiness and professionalism.

§ Nearly 300 upper-division courses are offered annually. In addition, the school is continually expanding its offerings to ensure they reflect the opportunities of the changing world. Go to URL listed above for more details.

§ Numerous small classes (20 students or less) and 20+ unique 1- and 2-credit compressed short courses taught by visiting experts from around the world.

§ Centers include Ethics & Public Service, HOPE Public Interest Resource Center, and the International Arbitration Institute.

§ Clinics include Bankruptcy, Children & Youth, Entrepreneurial Law, Death Penalty, Federal Appellate, Health Rights, Human Rights, Immigration, Innocence, Investor Rights, Tenants’ Rights. (Not all clinics are offered every year.)

In two recent surveys, Miami Law was recognized for its graduates who were promoted from associate to partner at law firms across the U.S. and locally. In The National Law Journal, Miami Law came in 15th for the most associate-

to-partner among all law schools. The Daily Business Review placed Miami Law alumni first among all law schools who were promoted to partner at South Florida law firms.
