Mission Statement
Baltimore City Cancer Program (BCCP) aims to
eliminate cancer deaths through early detection,
diagnosis, and treatment. We promote healthier
lifestyles through education, focused on cancer risks and
prevention. We offer breast, cervical, and oral cancer
screening services targeted to uninsured or under-
insured minority communities in Baltimore City and
link those requiring follow-up to diagnosis and
treatment services.
Vision Statement

Goals
• Reduce the burden of cancer in Baltimore City by decreasing cancer incidence through education and prevention initiatives.
• Reduce Baltimore City’s cancer morbidity rate for targeted cancers.
• Address cancer disparities for targeted cancers among minorities.
• Develop a medical delivery system (primary and specialty care) for uninsured population.
• Expand existing services and leverage additional resources through partnerships and collaborations.
