Internal as well as External Experts are invited.

5.9 Mention the number of malpractice cases reported during the last 3 years and how they are dealt with.

17 malpractice cases were reported for internal evaluation for odd semester, session 2012-13. The cases were investigated and the UM committee imposed a penalty of deducting 5%, 25% or 50% of the marks obtained. No case reported in End-Semester Exams.

5.10 Does the University have a continuous internal evaluation system?

The University follows the continuous evaluation system to assess the performance of the students in a course by the instructor(s)/faculty(s) throughout the semester. Considering the nature of the course, the instructor(s) will decide the mode of internal evaluation for theory subjects which may include class tests / project / papers / essays / class participation / quiz. Similarly for each practical/sessional/lab/studio subject the students are judged by the instructor(s)/faculty(s) on the basis of their performance/lab records / Viva / Attendance / Quiz / Presentations / Seminars / Projects or a combination of these throughout the semester.
