• Awarded to first time freshman• Awards guaranteed for students admitted by April
15th with qualified test scores• Renewable for up to four consecutive years
• Apply as part of the admissions application at APPLYTEXAS.org
• Priority deadline for incoming freshman: December 1st
• Non-Resident students awarded a combined total of $1000 in TTU Scholarships qualify to pay in-state tuition during the academic year
• TTU Scholarships are not transferable to TTUHSC• All university level scholarships require a Thank You
Letter before disbursement• Oct. 1 - Feb 1 — Re-apply for competitive
scholarships every year, apply at scholarships.ttu.eduPresidential Summer Bonus
• All Presidential Scholars receive $1,000 summer bonus (per year for 4 years)
• Begins summer after high school graduation• Students must enroll in minimum of 3 TTU
hours for summer• Renewal eligibility is determined annually
(in May) by review of grades & hours

• Considered for Proven Achievers / Presidential Transfer• Only documentation submitted through office of TTU Admissions &
Student Financial Aid Scholarships before July 1st will be accepted• Students must submit FAFSA for 1819 AND 1920 for Presidential Transfer• Students must be added to 2+1 Tech Teach Cohort• Thank You Letters must be submitted for both 1819 AND 1920• Awards disbursement schedule: Summer II, Fall, Spring, Summer I
