2 Chronicles 30:12 “The hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind.”The U.S. armed forces consist of four major and unique branches of service: The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. When brought together, they are a powerful force. When used alone, they have significantly less power. The body of Christ needs to have that same understanding of the power of unity.

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” You can’t do anything for the Kingdom unless you are unified in your relationship with Jesus. Secondly, you will not be nearly as effective in reaching the marketplace unless there is unity among other Christians, other churches, and other marketplace ministries.

God wants us to come to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ, this is only able to be obtained by unity in the faith. Joel 3:9-10 “Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the fighting men draw near and attack. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears"God is raising up a new kind of army in these last days.

Can an entire city be transformed for Jesus Christ? Acts 9:35 “All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.” I believe that there was unity among these believers that paved the way and laid the groundwork for this miracle and resulting transformation.
