Immanuel Lutheran Church Pork Chop Dinner
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hubbleton will be hosting their annual Pork Chop Dinner on Sunday August 5 from 11am – 1pm at the church in Hubbleton. They will be serving Hubbleton bone-in pork chops, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, dinner roll, assorted cookies and beverages. Tickets are $10 at the door or in advance. Hot dog plates for ages 7-12 are $4.00 each, and 6 and under are free. For more information call Mark Holzhueter at 920-478-9752.
Mingles Mingles is a social group for those in their 20's and 30's, married or single, from

SOUL Ride You are invited to the SOUL Ride motorcycle event this August 18th! Enjoy a scenic
ride through Southeastern Wisconsin while supporting the life-saving mission of WELS Lutherans for Life! The day will include morning refreshments and lunch, along with spiritual encouragement and fellowship with the supporters of the ministry. Participants will meet at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Jackson at 9:00 am. Funds raised from the SOUL Ride will directly support clients of WELS Lutherans for Life. Christian Life Resources' 3rd Annual Golf Outing CLR's 3rd annual Golf Outing is Friday, September 7, at Ironwood Golf Court,
W270N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex, WI - 9:30am registration/range and 10:30am shotgun start. Event cost is $90 ($340 discounted foursome) and includes lunch and buffet-style dinner. Four-person scramble format with 18 holes of golf with cart, free-range balls and other contests including hole-in-one, putting contest, longest drive, and closest to the pin. Raffles and prizes too. Camp Phillip Fun Run/Walk The sixth annual Camp Phillip 5K Fun Run/Walk will be taking place on Sunday

Bible Readings Included as an insert is a series of weekly Bible readings (beginning on Sunday, July
22). These readings feature hymns which contain many Scriptural truths. These same hymns and Bible readings are found in the July newsletter.
Summer Bible Study We have started a summer Bible study. The study is held on Thursdays. The study
for the week is being offered in the morning at 10:30 and then repeated in the evening at 7:00. The topic for the summer Bible study is the Lord’s Prayer. This study offers encouragement to keep praying and give direction from the Scriptures on what to include in our prayers.

Women in Service Women in Service will be meeting at noon on August 9 at Riverside Park Island.
These will be informal meetings to prepare our coming years events. All ladies in our congregation are welcome to attend. Pack your brown bag lunch and plan to have some great discussions.
Sunday Morning Treats We are still in need of a few people to bring treats or help serve for Sunday
morning treats. Treats are served on non-communion Sundays between services and after late services. Please consider helping us on a Sunday. This is a wonderful way to greet our church families and also visitors to Trinity. There is a sign-up sheet in the Fireside Room. If you have any questions, contact Nancy Zastrow (920-723-8731).

TSL Registration
TSL Registration Day will be held on Wednesday, August 8, from 3-7pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Western Avenue campus. We encourage all of our school families to make every effort to be present at registration that day. A Registration Day mailing was sent to all school families on July 19, and a special mailing on our Chromebook initiative was sent to families of students in grades 3-8 the week of July 9. Try as we may to keep our mailing lists accurate errors do creep in. If you did not receive these mailings please contact Mr. Moeller at 920-988-8786 (cell) or via email at [email protected]. You can also contact either of the school offices. We will get these mailings to you as soon as possible.
Help is needed for Registration Day. If you can help the entire time or only for a few hours, your help is appreciated. Please contact Mr. Moeller if you can assist us in this way.
TSL Work Morning The next TSL Work Morning will be held on Tuesday morning, July 31, beginning at
8:00 a.m. at Western Avenue campus. There are a number of projects to complete before Registration Day. Any and all help is appreciated, whether you can stay two hours or just a few minutes.
Ice Cream Social The Alpha Life Resource Center will be holding its annual Ice Cream Social on
Sunday, July 22 at St. Mark's Lutheran School Commons, 706 Jones Street, Watertown, serving from 10 am to 1 pm. Hot turkey, BBQ pork, homemade wieners and hot dogs, potato salads, baked beans, homemade desserts, banana splits and sundaes made with Mullen's ice cream are just some of the items available.
Take outs available! There will be silent auction items to bid on if you wish. Alpha Life Resource Center has been serving women and families in Jefferson,
Dodge and Western Waukesha counties for over 30 years with counseling/help services and resource referrals as well as infant and children's clothing, emergency diapers, wipes, formula/food and baby equipment. Our services are free to all clients and the proceeds raised at this event will allow us to continue providing assistance to all who enter the center’s doors.
We will again be accepting new or gently used children's Bibles, devotional or Christian storybooks. Your support of our Center is greatly appreciated.
Lakeside Hiring Lakeside Lutheran High School is seeking candidates for several non-called
positions, two full-time and several part-time, including an administrative assistant, morning custodian, groundskeeper and more. Executive Director: The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall administration of the business side of the school, working closely with the principal and Board of Regents. A successful candidate will be a member of a WELS/ELS in good standing, have an attitude of ministry, a thorough understanding of Biblical principles of stewardship and leadership, and a commitment to the cause of Christian education. In addition, candidates should have a degree in business administration or a related field or have equivalent work experience. Direct questions to Principal James Grasby. Administrative Assistant: full-time assistant to join our front office. This year-round position that includes health insurance and other benefits, assists the Athletic Director, Director of Operations and other administrative staff. A successful candidate will be comfortable learning new computer applications and skills. The position also requires high school diploma or equivalent; the ability to interact well on the phone and in person with students, parents, faculty, and staff; good organizational skills and attention to detail; the ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
Morning Custodian: part-time morning custodian to join our Building and Grounds crew. This year-round 20 hr/wk position requires 6-10 AM during the school year and at agreed-upon morning hours in the summer. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a clean background, and reliable transportation.
Grounds Maintenance/Custodian: part-time groundskeeper/custodian to join our Building and Grounds crew. This year-round 20 hr/wk position requires lawn mowing and athletic field prep during the warm months and snow removal and light custodial during the winter. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a clean background, and reliable transportation.
