Dear United Way Supporter,The needs in our communities continue to affect us all especially homelessness and families who are at risk. These are very real challenges that United Way is working to affect but we need your help. A lot has happened since we sent our request for support in December. We continue to align our work with Focus on Prevention, collaborate with longtime partners and discover new resources that will help us · create additional affordable housing

· help individuals immediately escape homelessness through construction and operation of a Low Barrier Emergency Shelter & Day Center

· support families of individuals who have been incarcerated and help them thrive

· help to form a cradle to career movement that will give every student in our county a good education

For over sixty years United Way of Stanislaus County has lived a deep commitment to improving the wellbeing of families and communities. United Way works with the county-wide initiative Focus on Prevention and local programs to provide resources to individuals and families in crisis today, while working year-round to improve our community and create lasting solutions.
