The United Nations Administrative Tribunal 5UNAT< is the independent oran competent

to hear and pass 1udment upon applications allein non(observance o/ contracts o/

employment o/ sta// members o/ the United Nations Secretariat or o/ their terms o/appointment as well as applications allein non(observance o/ the reulations and rules

o/ the UNJSP!2 arisin out o/ decisions by the !und% The Tribunal was established by the

0eneral Assembly in its resolution 3;4 A5*+< o/ ,8 November 4.8.% *t is composed o/seven members2 no two o/ whom may be nationals o/ the same State% The members shall

be appointed by the 0eneral Assembly /or /our years2 and may be reappointed once%
