MARVALLEY’s 4TH GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING (HALLOWEEN THEME)

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter held last Nov. 7, 2016 the 4TH General Membership Meeting in Halloween Theme at 7PM in Café Lidia, Calderon Street, Calumpang, Marikina City Attendees came in black and white color to match the wonderful Halloween decoration of the venue prepared by three new members namely; Ar. Rizza Bartolome, Ar. Raymond Munar and Ar. Valentine

Borilla with the help of Marvalley VP for Operation, Arch. Loreta C. Villame. Invocation led by Ar. Valentine

Borilla, with 3 product sponsors presentors. The event was grace with the presence of the guest speaker; Ar. Grace R. Tamesis who discussed the topic “The Spiritual House Cleansing.” Pres. Padilla discussed the Chapter activities on Nov. 12, 2016 which is the Medical Mission in cooperation with the Office of Vice Mayor of Marikina City, donations to Red Cross Marikina brought by the members during this 4th General Membership Meeting for typhoon Lawin, and the upcoming projects: Christmas Party, Celebration of NAW (Motorcade by Commission on Internal Affairs, Design Competition Exhibit, Architectural Clinic, Christmas Party, Rizal Churches Heritage Tour by District A5); Christmas Party, and Outreach at Bosos-boso. It was followed by November celebrants, traditional group pictorial and raffles.

UAP MARIKINA VALLEY CHAPTER MEDICAL MISSION IN COOPERATION WITH MARIKINA VICE MAYOR JOSE FABIAN CADIZ

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter joined the Medical Mission in cooperation with Vice Mayor Jose Fabian Cadiz of Marikina City last Nov. 12, 2016 at 8AM-12Noon in Barangay Hall, Barangay Fortune, Marikina City. Attendees led by Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Virgilio M. Balderosa, Ar. Rodelo A. Vargas, Ar. Paul Mari D. Lamagna, Ar. Maria Cristina L. Bautista, Ar. Franklin Bautista and Ar. Romeo S. Miramonte, Jr. Doc. Joel V. Revelle as project coordinator for the medical mission with free services rendered are consultation of infants, kids, elderly and senior citizens, X-ray, Dental, Blood extraction and testing, ECG, Opta, Prostrate Screening, Massage and Dispensing of medicines as prescribed by Doctors.

MARVALLEY DONATES FOR TYPHOON LAWIN VICTIMS TO RED CROSS MARIKINA

The UAP Marikina Valley Chapter donates to Marikina Red Cross for typhoon Lawin victims last Nov. 12, 2016 in Red Cross Office, Marikina City. Attended by Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Paul Mari D. Lamagna. It was handed in to Marikina Red Cross donations from members of assorted canned goods, instant noodles, bottled water, biscuits, laundry and bath soap, shampoo and used clothes. Also adopting 6 kids for insurance medical expenses. We discuss future projects with them including seminars and blood donation.

MARVALLEY 5th BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The UAP Marikina Valley held the 5th Board of Directors Meeting last Nov. 16, 2016 at Shakey’s Marcos Highway. Attendees were Ar. Philip John S. Padilla, Ar. Grace Anne R. Tamesis, Ar. Loreta C. Villame, Ar. Jernel B. Bagares, Ar. Ranier L. Biglang-Awa, Ar. Jasmin P. Lee, Ar. Rodeo A. Vargas, and Ar.Leo B. Carlos. Discussed topics are the Christmas Party with family and the presence of Santa Claus on Dec. 9, 2016 in Blue Wave Pavilion Activity Center, Marikina City. Design Competition Exhibit on December 4 – 9, 2016 (Opening Ceremonies on December 4, 2016 and Awarding will be on Dec. 9, 2016) and Architectural Clinic on December 8 – 9, 2016 at the Marikina City Hall Lobby. Also discussed during the meeting is the upcoming Outreach Program and evaluation of submitted design competition boards.

MARVALLEY JOINS DISTRICT A5 RIZAL HERITAGE TOUR

The UAP Marikina Valley joins District A5 for Rizal Heritage Tour as part of celebrating National Architecture Week with the team KOLABORASYON - Our Past defines our Future towards Professional Excellence”. Other UAP chapter present in the tour are, San Juan Pinaglabanan, Pasig,

Taytay, and Greenhills. Part of the our was a visit to the following places – Church of Morong, Church of Baras, Church of Tanay, and Church of Boso-Boso with the beautiful landscape and view Sierra madre can offer last November 7, 2016. The group had lunch and meeting over Paseo Rizal. Items discussed during the meeting are future projects for the districts including plans for a sports fest and District A5 Assembly. Other topics are updates on each chapters projects including Christmas parties. The group also visited a nearby resort and events place for a possible venue for future projects of the district.
