Thank You to Barbara Wheeler for sending pictures and information on the October 30th Unit Game! This is the first unit game to be held in the new Sacramento Bridge Center. The atmosphere was very festive with several players playing at the Center for the first time. There were 15 1/2 tables enjoying this first game at the new Sacramento Bridge Center. Cindy Daugherty, Eileen Hayes, and Jim Coke in the new kitchen. Cindy and Eileen were 3rd E-W and 6th overall. Jim and his partner, Susan Bogan, were 1st E-W and 2nd overall. Gary and Jan Soules were 1st N-S and 1st overall winning 3.79 MPs.
Susan Bogan, one of the E-W winners, is shown admiring one of Pat Ingoglia’s decorations.
Albert Chow is responsible for planning the beautiful kitchen which has 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers. Pat Ingoglia provided the Marigolds decorating the shelf over the sink. Thanks, Pat!
Marie Leonardini was in charge of the food. She made delicious chili with a recipe from the Silver Palate cookbook. Other players brought side dishes for the potluck. Marie is shown with Jim Coke, Ted Muller, and Maggie Edwy, the Director for the game.
Between rounds there was
vibrant chatter.
