Law of Sines– Day 1 ﴾AAS & ASA﴿Consider oblique ΔABC for each of the following. Oblique triangles are triangles that have no right angles


Again, consider oblique ΔABC for each of the following.


The law of sines can be used to solve a triangle if the following information is known:· Two angles and any side (AAS or ASA)· Two sides and an angle opposite one of them (SSA).




Solve the triangle. If two solutions exist, find both. Round to the nearest hundredth.

3. a = 15 ft , b = 25 ft , A = 85°


4. a = 12 meters , b = 31 meters , A = 20.5°





You have to find side b on question 3 to find angle C.
