Unit description
Thefocusforthisunitispointsofview.Youwillidentifyandexploreconceptsorissuesofpersonalsignificanceinthepresentationofasustained,articulateandauthenticbodyofwork.Youwillengageinsustainedinquiry,exploringideasanddevelopingconceptstocommunicateapersonalpointofview.
Youwillinvestigatearangeofsolutionsusingvisuallanguageanddocumenttheprogressiveresolutionofthinkingandworkingpractices.Skills,techniquesandprocessesarecombinedinthepursuitofnewartforms,innovationandpersonalstyle.
What are points of view?
Pointsofviewcanbedefinedasanattitudeorwayofconsideringamatterand thepositionfromwhichsomethingorsomeoneisobserved.
What concepts can I explore
YouwillbeexploringtheunittopicofPointofView‘MeandYou.’Throughoutthisunityouareencouragedtoexplorethevariouspointsofviewthatmaybeformedtowardscertainissues,topicsorsituationsandhowcontextcanplayaroleindetermininghowapointofviewisformed.Someconceptsthatyouexplore,butarenotlimitedto,includethefollowing:
