You are required to research the history and background to UK operations of TESCO PLC. This is covered in Section 2 to include:

As you will see, Tesco has store portfolio that is divided into six formats differentiated by size and range of products sold. They comprise Tesco; Extra, Superstores, Metro, Express, One stop and Homeplus.

From your research you are required to complete the following:
