In 2003 unidrain® was the first company in the world to develop

unidrain® GlassLine is a range of shower screens designed

as a natural extension of the original unidrain® floor drain.

Using a uniqueflange system, the shower screen is simply

and securely installed in the floor and walland represents a

complete concept together with the unidrain® floor drain.

The GlassLine shower screen can be installed in two ways:

The fixed module embraces the entire shower

cubicle with an integrated drain unit.

The flexible module can be installed on a regular drain unit.

Both solutions can be combined with outlet unit,

frame, grating/panel and shower screen.

unidrain®’s floor drains are an intelligent and functional solution.

The system is composed of drain unit, outlet unit, frame and

grating/panel, and are available in both line and corner solutions.

The two design ranges, ClassicLine and HighLine, each offer

clean lines and streamlined design and constitute the top,

visible part of the floor drain. The installation of the drain unit

and the outlet unit is the same for both ranges.

CLASSICLINE

ClassicLine is the original design range from unidrain®

and consists of frame and grating. A selection of elegant

and timeless grating designs in brushed stainless steel

ensures that there is a product to suit all tastes.

In the HighLine range, the traditional grating is replaced by

a panel available in three solutions:

- Panel is a brushed stainless steel or frosted glass solution

- Custom is a flat base on top of which you lay your choice of floor tile

- Cassette is a base with wall/floor junctions all the way around,

making it suitable for flooring such as terrazzo

(using own material).

RELIABLE RESULT

Because unidrain® is placed against the wall, it only

requires a single-sided slope as opposed to the

traditional four-sided incline. It is thus easier to produce

a correct base without the risk of depressions or reverse

slope.

The result is a completely level floor surface. This makes

it easier to lay large tiles that do not require cutting

around the drain. The end result is both waterproof and

reliable.

correct placement during the entire building process

FIXATION DURING POURING

The drain unit is fixed throughout the entire pouring

process, ensuring it does not move. Placement against

the wall, away from the work area, eases the task of

reinforcement and floor heating.

EASY PRODUCTION OF A BASE WITH ONE-SIDED SLOPE

A one-sided base makes it easier to produce a correct

base without the risk of reverse slope and depressions.

The base for the tiled surface is thus completely even

and smooth.

WET ROOM SECURE CONNECTION WITH WALL AND

FLOOR

The overlap of the membrane with the floor and wall

flanges of the drain forms a waterproof and wet room

secure seal with the floor and wall.

EASY TILE FITTING ON A TOTALLY FLAT SURFACE

The one-sided slope makes tile laying even easier,

even with very large tiles. It is not necessary to cut the

tiles to fit around the drain.

GlassLine construction is

available in two types: the fixed

and the flexible module.

The fixed module is a natural extension

of the original design of the floor drain.

The fixed module consists of two

welded profiles placed perpendicularly

on the drain unit: One is for mounting

on the side wall and the other is used

for mounting the shower screen.

The flexible module is a separate

profile, which is attached and fastened

to the existing drain units with bolts.

The shower screen is then mounted.

WHAT MAKES GLASSLINE UNIQUE

unidrain®’s patented flange system is extended to the installation

of the shower screen, making GlassLine the strongest and most wet

room secure installation ever for shower cubicles.

The fixed/flexible module is fitted to the wall and embedded firmly

into the floor. When the floor is poured, it follows the two % slope

in the shower cubicle to make the pouring process easier than ever

before, and decreases the risk of depressions or reverse slope. The

wall profile is fixed to the rear wall and the shower screen is attached

to the profile as well as inserted into the track in the fixed/flexible

module. Wall and floor flanges ensure a 100 % waterproof solution

and the tiles elegantly conceal the strong underlying installation.

The shower screen is now firmly attached to both the wall and floor,

eliminating the risk of loosening over time.

The set consists of a front, back and side profile(s) that are mounted into

wooden joists using screws. The drain unit is inserted into the profile and

”clicked” in place.

Ensures correct placement and fitting of drain unit in wooden floor joist

Module 1100 is a customised modular line drain system that is manufactured to order. Modular line drains

can be many meters long and are therefore ideal for institutions, changing rooms and large bathrooms.

Outlet units, frames and gratings are taken from the permanent range. This means that frames and

gratings are placed end-to-end, making maintenance easy and manageable. A number of outlet units are

also used to ensure as high capacity and low construction height as possible.

Module 1100 for mid-floor placement is available upon request.

Maintain the vertical end flanges, even those with odd dimensions. Extra space can be filled out with flex frames at the sides.

Two modules with angle and flex frame

Allow the modular line drain to follow the corners in the shower area so that showers can be installed in several walls.

A modular line drain system that covers double the length of a standard model when not extended with flex frames.

FLEX FRAMES

Flex frames are used to extend the visible lenghth of the floor drain. The are laid end-to-end and installed using

tile mortar, so there is no need to cut small pieces of tile.

Flex frames can be used for:

- Drain systems from the permanent range, allowing the module unit to be customised by down to a 10 mm jump.

- Module 1100 line drains that cover the distance between frames and gratings to provide a visually uninterrupted result.

MatLine is useful and relevant in every building. The intelligent

mat system consists of four parts: A mat, frame, strainer and

fitting. A hook is supplied to make raising the mat easier.

The mat is flush with the surrounding floor and surrounded

by a slim steel frame in brushed stainless steel. There is a

strainer under the mat to catch sand and gravel.

Below that is the fitting, which is cast into the floor.

Height-adjustable supports are available to order to facilitate the

casting process.

MATLINE COMPLETE HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS

The complete MatLine includes grating, frame and

mat with nylon brushes fitted. A strainer and hook

(for lifting) are also included.

A complete MatLine set comes in two separate

packs according to the construction process, in

which the grating is installed first followed by the

frame and mat.

A pack of four adjustable feet is available as an optional

extra. The feet can be fitted during the installation

process when required.
