BBA STUDENT MAJORING IN HTM RECEIVED THE BEST INTERN AWARD IN CHINAMr. Weidong Weng, ID 5337739, a 4th year student from the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Martin de tours School of Manage-ment and Economics ( MSME), Assumption University, has been in China for his Internship at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, a luxury five star hotel in Shanghai since January 2017. He received the "Five Star Intern of the second Quarter, 2017" trophy from the hotel as the best trainee.
AU STUDENTS WON 3 PRIZES @ AIOI VIRAL VIDEO CONTESTAU News 17 Nov, 2017: Congratulations to “My Sand Castle” Viral Video, produced by FUTV Studio - a student team from Assumption University. The video won three prizes, the 1st Place Winner, the Best Cinematic Award, and Popular Vote Award in Aioi Viral Video Contest, organized by Aioi Bangkok Insurance Thailand & Mass Communication BSRU. Total prize value is 90,000 Baht, and this project will be shown in Japan.
ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY TEAM GRABED THE FIRST RUNNER UP PRIZE AND THE BEST DIGITAL AWARDAt L’ORÉAL BRANDSTORM 2016 NATIONAL FINALSThe undergraduate team from AU marketing school won the 1st Runner Up Prize and the Best Digital Award at L’Oréal Brandstorm 2016 National Finals on May 10, 2016.
AU STUDENTS NAMED GRAND WINNER AT LAZADA FILM CONTEST 2017Congratulations to Ms.Pichayapha Engkutanon (6010103) and Mr. Borwornrat Khrongsiriwat (5913381), Team Takeaway from BBA-Manage-ment - Leadership and Entrepreneurship Department, Assumption University, as grand winner of the latest national competition hosted by Lazada entitled “Lazada Short Film Contest 2017”. The team bagged 50,000 Thai Baht as the prize.
AU AVEM TEAM WON THE FIRST PRIZE OF "TOYOTA CAMPUS CHALLENGE 2016"The AU undergraduate team, AVEM, won the first place in Toyota Campus Challenge 2016, a national competition in which 670 teams competed. The challenge aims to promote road safety at Thailand ranks second in the world in terms of the highest rate of traffic accidents.The AVEM Team campaign “Save Cone Save ��” made it to the final round and won the prize worth about 600,000 Baht. Plus a trip to Japan for the whole team. The team consists of 3 students in marketing: Chokechai Theerajanthasethe, Chayakorn Suttisiri, Krit Soparaj and Paul Vianney Maristela from IBM and their advisor, Dr. Tipa Sriyabhand from The Department of Marketing.
OUTSTANDING RESEARCH BY AU BIOTECHNOLOGY STUDENTMiss Anchidta Tangsuk, a senior student from Food Technology Department, AU School of Biotechnology, recently won the honorable mention award from her research on the “Production of Low and Pro-Biotic Yogurt Powder” at the Food Innovation Asia Conference 2018, BITEC Bangna. The research was under the supervision of the AU School of Biotechnology Lecturer, Dr. Tatsawan Tipvorakankul. Congratulations to Miss Anchidta and her supervisor!
AU TEAM WON L’OREAL INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION AND NAME TOP WINNER IN PARIS – THE FIRST TIME EVER FOR THAILAND!Congratulations to AU Team representing Thailand - Chemerical at L’Oreal Brand Award 2017 in Paris. The chemerical team from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University of Thailand consistings of Ms. Veerin Worakittiso-phon, Ms.Belle Ling, and Ms.Journey Ling from the Department of International Business Management. The team is accompanied by Dr. Suwanna Kowathanakul, Chairperson of Marketing Department and A. Wendy Farrell.
L’Oreal international competition has been hosting for the past 25 years with approximately 95,000 students from 58 countries participating. It is the first time ever for Thailand to win this competitive champion ship.
AU STUDENT AWARDED KPMG ASEAN SCHOLAR-SHIP AWARD 2018Miss Promvadee Trijirarut, a Finance Major, Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University, was recently won the highly prestigious
KPMG ASEAN Scholarship Award 2018. This scholarship attests to the awarded winner recipient’s outstanding achievement and potential to excel in today’s complex business environment; being exemplified as a goal-driv-en future leader, and to nurture young talents into future leaders for the ASEAN and global business. The award presentation took place on August 17, 2018 at the Empire Tower, Bangkok. Congratulations to our young talented leader, Miss Promvadee Trijirarut!
