Health and Research Building Simulation Suites If you are interested in healthcare subjects such as Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography, Radiotherapy, Paramedic Science and Physiotherapy this tour will offer you a fantastic opportunity to see the University’s state-of-the-art simulation suites that are used for education and training in these fast changing sectors. The tour takes approximately 30 minutes (including Q&A) and will include the following:
• ITU/ward simulation area• Simulated house/living set up• Simulated GP surgery• Simulated counselling room• Clinical skills lab• Observation/seminar rooms• Showcase of audio manikins• Showcase of audio visual equipment
Sessions: 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30
11 Location: Depart from the Health Zone, where one of our ambassadors will lead the group
Bayfordbury Observatory and Field Station If you are interested in Physics and Astronomy you can visit our Bayfordbury Campus. A free coach will leave at 12:45 from outside The Forum Hertfordshire on the College Lane Campus and return to the College Lane Campus at 14:30.

The Forum - Student Social Life The official on-campus nightclub at the University of Hertfordshire. The £38-million multi-functional venue, opened its doors in 2009 following a complete redevelopment. With a capacity of 2,250, it is a sophisticated venue with three state-of-the-art entertainment spaces, a restaurant, a cafe and multiple bars.
32 Learning Resources Centre Our LRC has recently undergone extensive renovation and now includes a new layout, refurbished cafe, new seating and decorations to provide a comfortable, welcoming place for our students and staff to study, meet up or grab a bite to eat.

1 The main reception is a social and meeting space for staff and students, here you will also find Café Rore serving sushi, ramen, miso broth plus homemade ciabatta baps.
2 The Film, Music, and Media building is home to our Media courses with a range of facilities including, Animation Suites, Film and TV Studio, Music Studio, and Sound Booths.
3 The School of Creative Arts has purpose-built buildings for each subject area with state-of-the-art workshops, industry-standard equipment and software, and constant support from expert technicians.
4 The Todd Building is home to Architecture, Product and Industrial Design, Fine Art Studios and Graphic Design and Illustration.
5 The Hutton Hub brings together the essential services our students need whilst at University. Some services within the Hub include, Student Centre, Admissions, Careers and Employment, Student well-being, Medical Centre, Campus Pharmacy, Hertfordshire Student Union, Santander Bank, and European and Study Abroad Office.
6 The Forum is the official on-campus nightclub at the University of Hertfordshire with three bars varying in size.

7 The Restaurant has a large selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast and lunch throughout the week.
8 The Wright Building is home to the School of Health and Social Work. It is named after Gordon Wright, who was the Librarian at Hatfield Polytechnic.
9 Studying is important, but so is giving yourself time to unwind. You can relax with friends and study at our LRC with 24/7 access.
10 The Science building is home to the School of Life and Medical Sciences which has areas for informal learning and socialising and state-of-the-art facilities including labs, research technology, mock pharmacy and simulation rooms.
11 Health Research Building includes a special simulation centre for the School of Health and Social Work and the School of Life and Medical Science.
12 The oval is the accommodation helpdesk, social space where you can relax with friends and access the gym. There are six room types on College Lane.
13 The Key is a space for students of all faiths.
