UNDERGRADUATE & GRADUATE
NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS F.A. Davis is delighted to offer two nursing scholarships in 2018! $1,500 will be awarded to one undergraduate nursing student and to one graduate nursing student who is studying in the US or Canada.
These scholarships reflect our continuing commitment to the education of nurses and their
commitment to quality health care for all of us.
They recognize the challenging, yet rewarding path nursing students have embarked on and the very special nature of those who have chosen it.

Click here to fill out our application. Completed applications and the required accompanying documents will only be accepted via this form. Note: Official transcripts will be required from the finalists.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Must be currently pursuing one of the following…
• Undergraduate degree leading to NCLEX®‐eligibility LPN/LVN, RN, BSN, or RN‐BSN • Graduate degree leading to MSN, DNP, or PhD
Must be enrolled in a nursing program for the 2018‐2019 school year.
Must be a student in good standing with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must be a student in the U.S. or Canada. (Must be a citizen, legal resident, or holder of a valid student Visa)

A completed application form submitted via the link above.
Proof of current enrollment (One of the following: enrollment verification letter, acceptance letter, course registration for upcoming semester, screenshot of unofficial transcript.)

Introduction In 100‐200 words, tell us about yourself. Why are you applying for this scholarship? Feel free to include fun facts, an appropriate photograph, or anything that you feel would make you stand out.
Short Essay In 300‐600 words, write about the following: Was there a defining moment in your life that made you want to pursue a nursing career?
DEADLINE & SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Application Deadline: May 15th, 2018
Completed applications must be submitted no later than the set deadline of May 15th, 2018 at 11:59 pm EST. There will be absolutely no exceptions.

SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS
The winner will be chosen by June 15th, 2018.
Non‐winners will not be notified.

By sending your application, you agree to use the scholarship prize for education purposes only: tuition and/or related expenses such as books or school supplies required by your instructors for their courses. (Room and board and other taxable expenses do not qualify.)
Submitting your application hereby gives us permission to use your Introduction and/or your Short Essay for the Company’s various marketing platforms, including but not limited to print, blogs, social media platforms, and websites. The information from your application may be pulled for anonymous statistics. We will never ask to share information on your application form, as that is considered completely confidential.
