Finding the right place to live while you study is an important consideration in your choice of university. Our Accommodation Office offers a free and friendly service in helping you find a place to live that not only suits your needs but lets you get on with university life – both studying and having fun.

Our accommodation options suit all budgets and are as follows. • On-campus – within walking distance of

campus facilities • Off-campus – serviced by shuttle buses

Accommodation on-campusWe offer a range of on-campus accommodation. These halls of residence are just a few minutes’ walk from all campus and academic facilities.

Meals The halls are self-catered and only meant for very light cooking. You have to provide your own utensils, cutlery and crockery and must take into consideration that this is a Halal campus. There are floors in Pangkor Wing that have been designated as ‘vegetarian’ wings. However, this is dependent on demand.

The hypermarkets and shopping malls located in Semenyih and Kajang should be able to cover your basic shopping needs and save you travelling into the city. You can easily access the Tesco mall in Semenyih using the free shuttle service provided by the University.

Accommodation off-campus Off-campus accommodation is non-university, privately owned and mainly consists of premium rate apartments and rooms in houses. We can help you arrange off-campus accommodation, but it will be a contract between the private landlord and yourself.

For further details and information on how to apply, please visit www.nottingham.edu.my/accommodation

On-campus accommodation ratesAccommodation fees range from RM395 to RM850 per month, including utilities and internet connection. The fees do not include air-conditioning usage.

* These accommodation rates are based on 2014/15 rates and are subject to change.
