Kuwait is one of the leading exporters of Petroleum in the world. Although an oil rich country, it has other features to proudly cater for its touristic aspirations, including Kuwait Towers, Liberation Tower (world’s fourth tallest stand-alone building), The Grand Mosque, the National Assembly Building, the Entertainment City, as well as numerous iconic shopping malls and areas. Kuwait City, the capital, is known for its modern architecture, ranging from skyscrapers to the striking Kuwait Towers, water towers whose design recalls the tiled domes of a classic mosque. Kuwait has many public and private beaches, resorts, beautiful islands, and archaeological sites from the Greek era.
