COLLECTIVE FOR APPROPRIATE DRUG USE

Preventing drug-related illness is a priority for the Korian Group and for prescribers.

The analysis of prescriptions in 110 Korian* Nursing Homes, conducted with our partners Vidal and Medissimo, showed very frequent and cross-sectional use of drugs with anticholinergic properties. This property is sometimes hidden or unknown.

Through the DemAsCH study (Démasquer les anticholinergiques: Uncovering anticholinergics), we want to make it easier to identify these molecules and suggest a therapeutic alternative where one exists.
