Richard Kinder, chairman and chief executive officer of energy pipeline company Kinder Morgan, will share his thoughts on business resilience and entrepreneurialism, the state of today’s energy environment and Houston as a global city, and how philanthropic gifts can be transformative .

Through the Kinder Foundation, which he founded with his wife, Nancy, Kinder has donated tens of millions of dollars to the development and greening of the city’s parks and historic bayous, played a leadership role in the development of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston campus, and provided a $15 million endowment to the Kinder Institute for Urban Research at Rice University .
