You will also visit the Wawel Cathedral where the Polish kings were crowned and buried, the Old Town with its restored medieval Market Square, heart of the city. At St. Mary’s Basilica see the largest wooden Gothic altar and at the arcaded Cloth Hall shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, an optional excursion to Wieliczka, the oldest salt mine in Europe. On a 1.5 mile tourist route you will admire fascinating underground world. The evening, an optional Polish Dinner at the Res- taurant Havelka. 9th Day/Thu - KRAKOW - WARSAW. We leave for Czestochowa, the spiritual heart of Po- land, where we visit the Jasna Gora Monastery with the Black Madonna shrine. We arrive War- saw early afternoon and settle-in at our comfort- able hotel conveniently situated across the shop- ping mall. 10th Day/Fri - WARSAW. This morning, we in- troduce you to the highlights of Warsaw. A half- day sightseeing tour includes Old Town, beau- tifully rebuilt after World War II with impressive Royal Castle, seat of last Polish monarchs. The morning offers an op- tional excursion to the Pirogovo Ethnographic Museum, where farm houses, wooden churches and windmills from 18th and 19th century rural Ukraine are on display. Lviv is known as the center of West-Ukraine, which was never incorporated into imperial Russia but was a part the Habsburg Empire. The morning sightseeing tour takes us to Lviv Old Town including entrance to Boim Chapel and Pharmacy Museum. In the afternoon an optional Lviv Beer Tour is offered. 6th Day/Mon - LVIV. The full day optional tour today takes us to castles around Lviv: Olesko Castle dating back to 13th century and the resi- dence of Polish Kings, like Jan Sobieski and Zo- lochiv Palace – the jewel of defensive architec- ture build in 17th century. In the evening enjoy an optional Carpathian dinner at Restaurant Trout, featuring regional dish, Carpathian trout. 7th Day/Tue - LVIV - KRAKOW. In the Morn- ing we depart to Lviv Railway Station. Here we board the modern intercity train bound for the Polish city Przemysl to catch our connection fur- ther on to Krakow. The scenic train ride takes us through the mountainous and forested Polish Sub-Carpathian province before we reach Kra- kow in the early afternoon. Upon arrival we are transferred to the hotel. TOUR CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS/PAYMENTS: A non refundable deposit of $200 per person is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 45 days before departure. TOUR COST: Tour price is based on currency exchange levels in effect in Sep. 2019. It is subject to adjustment in the event of significant changes. Children discount: Children under 12 sharing room with parents, may qualify for a discount. Children under the age of seven are not accepted on motor coach tours. TOUR/AIR ARRANGEMENTS: Every effort will be made to provide lowest possible airfare available at the time of booking. Hotel accommodations will be provided in twin bedded rooms with private facilities. Single rooms are available at the supplement. While every effort will be made to provide sharing of accommodations for persons booking alone, when requested, it cannot be guaranteed and single supplement must be paid before departure when billed. Hotels specified can be changed within the same category. Unused hotel accommodations or any other unused features of this tour are not refundable nor exchangeable for other services. The right is reserved to substitute hotels and sightseeing features if it becomes necessary. Each tour member must be able to get on and off the motor coach unaided and not require walking devices or wheelchairs. Smoking on motor coaches is not permitted. NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR COST: Cost of passports, transfers on arrival and departure,meals (except breakfast daily) items of a personal nature; phone calls, laundry, insurance, gratuities to escorts and drivers.BAGGAGE: Free baggage allowance on transatlantic flights is one suitcase per person not exceeding 50 lbs. and 62 in. (sum of three sides) plus a carry-on which must fit in the overhead compartment. NO VACCINATIONS are required by law.DOCUMENTS: A valid U.S. or foreign passport is required. To apply for passport, contact your local U.S. Post Office. Check the validity of your passport and be sure it is valid for at least six months after your return date. Ukrainian visa is not required for stays up to 90 days, only insurance coverage is required for duration of your stay. INSURANCE: All inclusive insurance (cancellation, accident/health, baggage, delays) is strongly recommended and will be offered to all tour participants with confirmation. If you have a pre-existing condition, insurance must be purchased within 10 days of deposit. Contact our office for information.CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be made in writing to PAT TOURS. Full refund will be made for cancellations received up to 46 days prior to departure less a $25 administrative fee. Between 45 - 36 days deposit of $200 is non-refundable. No refund will be made for cancella-tions received less than 35 days prior to departure. AIRLINE TICKETS, when issued, are subject to the airline cancellation policy applicable to the airfare used. After completion of the tour, claims for refund must be made in writing within 30 days.

RESPONSIBILITY: The travel agency, PAT TOURS, 1446 Riverdale St, W. Springfield, MA 01089, acts only as an agent for tour operators, in Europe and their various companies who provide arrangements for hotels, sightseeing tours, and transportation or any other service in connection with the itinerar-ies of individual tour members who by acceptance thereof, acknowledges that the travel agency or its agents and suppliers shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act or default of any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing or rendering of services included in the tours. Further, the travel agency or its agents accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, wars, whether declared or not, riots, theft, weather condition, defect in any vehicle of trans-portation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control. PAT TOURS reserves the right to cancel, change, substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any tour member at any time for any reason including insufficient number of participants.
