Polyurethane Foam

Door MaterialsWith today’s changing climate, demand for a door that is durable, secure and thermally efficent is high; that is why our composite door range has been designed specifically to meet these demands:

The core material of the composite door is CFC-free polyurethane foam, this provides outstanding levels of thermal efficiency and noise insulation

The door’s internal and external skins are constructed from an impact-resistant Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP)

GRP is light, but has a higher strength ratio weight for weight than mild steel, making the door extremely strong and durable.

Door Furniture Options

Sidelights and fanlights are a stylish and practical addition to your door choice, and are available to match many of the glass designs featured in this brochure.

Sidelights are available in half and full options(selected designs only). Please contact your Sales Representative for further information.

Sidelights & Fanlights Door Specification Door Slab Core material: CFC-free polyurethane foam. Skins: Impact resistant Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) external and internal skin.

Please ensure you select inside and outside colours for the door slab (standard will be white inside and coloured outside unless stated). Colour options are: white, black, cream, red, blue, green, oak and rosewood.

PVCu Frame Inliten 70mm System. Doors will be mounted on a white frame unless otherwise stated. Cream doors will be mounted on a cream frame. Outerframes available in: white, black, cream, red, blue, green, oak and rosewood (some colours available as non-stock only, please check when ordering). NB: outerframe colours may not be exact match to slab colours

RAL Colours Black: 9017 White: 9016 Cream: 9001 Red: 3013 Green: 6009 Blue: 5011 Oak: 8001 These are approximate matches to RAL colours as the paint system used is not a true RAL colour

Reinforcement Steel reinforced outerframe

Locking Mechanism Euro-cylinder locking system fitted as standard. Cylinder-free locking also available at an extra charge. Locking systems designed to meet the requirements of PAS 23/24 and Secured by Design. Lever pad/night latch and lever/lever locks available.

Handles Lever/lever handles will be fitted as standard. Lever/lever handles will also be fitted to lever/pad locks for leverage. To open lever/pad lock from the outside, turn the key towards the door frame to open. White handles fitted on white doors as standard. Specify handle colour on coloured doors. Available in black, white, chrome or brass.

Hinges White hinges as standard on white frames. For coloured frames, please choose hinge colour. Cream doors will feature chrome hinges as standard. No black hinges available.

Door Furniture Letterboxes, knockers and numbers available as optional extras.

Furniture Colour Brass, chrome, black and white handles and letterboxes. Black or brass door knockers, letters and numerals.

Threshold 76mm door threshold as standard. Stormguard Threshold available as an optional extra.

Glazing Cassettes Glazing cassettes on the composite door can be replaced

Warranty 10 year warranty. Composite doors meets all the stringent British Standard tests compliant with Parts L and M of building regulations.

Delivery Standard delivery times apply (may be longer for non stock colours).
