About PFRDA

Exit before attainment of 60 years of age • Subscriber would be required to invest minimum 80 % of accumulated savings (pension wealth) to purchase annuity. • Subscriber can withdraw balance 20%.
Exit upon attainment of 60 years of age • Subscriber would be required to invest minimum 40% of accumulated savings (pension wealth) to purchase annuity. • At the time of exit, the effort is to give a monthly pension of Rs.1000/-. If 40% of corpus is not sufficient to give pension of Rs.1000/- entire pension wealth would be subject to annuitisation.
Exit due to death of subscriber • Entire accumulated pension wealth would be payable to the nominee/legal heirs of the subscriber.

Subscriber Registration
• VLE to choose National Pension System (Swavalamban Yojna) as a service on the service page of http://www.apna.csc.gov.in/ portal.

• To enroll a new subscriber the VLE need to choose Subscriber Registration option to Register a new subscriber.
• VLEs who are registered for this service can only promote the scheme.
• To start the service kindly send a mail to [email protected]

• VLE / Operator need to click on Swavalamban or NPS to fill the online Registration form, the details of subscriber is captured in the online form like
– Name , Address
– Age, Gender
– Nominee Details
– Mobile Number etc.

• Upload color photograph only, ID proof and Residence proof of the subscriber in the JPEG format in the application form.
• After uploading the above documents kindly click on submit button .

• Kindly put the amount that the subscriber wants to pay
• Minimum amount that will be accepted by the VLE at the time of enrollment of a new subscriber is Rs. 100
• After putting the amount and the wallet password, kindly click on Pay

• It is advised to take Rs 1000 at the beginning from subscriber to make him/her eligible for Swavalamban benefit .
• Maximum deposit by any subscriber to avail Swavalamban can not be more than Rs 12,000.

• Data of the subscriber entered by VLE will populate in the form seen on this screen.
• Take the print out of the filled form
• Take signature/thumb impression of the subscriber on the first page below Photograph box and on the last page of the form.
• Paste the physical photograph on the photo pasting option.

Rejected form
• The SCA will check the forms and can reject the forms if it is incomplete or incorrect, the status of the rejected forms by the SCA will be visible in the Rejected Form status bar
• To check the reason for the rejection kindly click on the MEMBERSHIP Number appearing against the subscriber name.

• When you click on the membership no. the reason for rejection is mention .
• The VLE can modify the form as per requirement / issue raised by SCA and Press the submit button.
• Again take print out of the form and get the subscriber’s signature in each page (same as last time) and send it to SCA office.

• The SCA will upload the PRAN no. allotted to every Subscriber whose Application got accepted within 15 days of the acceptance .
• The VLE can check PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number ) allotted to the Subscriber by clicking
on PRAN number option .

• VLE can check the details of the subscriber by clicking on Membership Number .
• When you click on Membership Number you will come to PRAN Details page .
• To see / confirm about subscriber for whom the PRAN no. has been generated , click on View .
• Do not click on HANDOVER tab till the time you receive PRAN Card . PRAN card of subscriber will be sent to VLE by SCA with in 45 days of application
submission .

• To check about the reports related to NPS (Swavalamban Yojna) , VLE to click on Reports .
• This option will help VLE to manage the activity better and in an organized way .
• This option will give information to VLE about the transactions , status , and will keep the track of the progress of this activity .

• To check the status select the period From date and To date .
• Click on Download Report .
• Status report will be downloaded in an Excel Sheet format in VLE Computer .

• The VLE can collect additional Deposit from any subscriber of NPS by clicking on Additional Fund Deposit option .
• Kindly put the correct details of the subscriber like the PRAN no. and the Name and make the payment using your wallet and proceed .
