  • UHS Medical Group The UHS Medical Group is a profes-sional corporation and multi-specialty group medical practice consisting of approximately 350 practitioners at physician practice locations throughout Greater Binghamton and the Southern Tier. Physicians, surgeons and other providers in the group encompass a wide range of specialties at office and hospital sites throughout Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, Sullivan and Tioga counties.     UHS Foundation The Foundation supports innovation, service and quality in the UHS health-care system by educating the commu-nity about healthcare needs and giving opportunities, attracting financial donors, managing gifts and providing grants.     UHS Physician PracticesUHS operates the Southern Tiers largest network of primary and specialty physi-cian practice offices, with locations in Broome and surrounding counties. UHS Physician Practices offer care to every member of the family, from babies to the elderly, at sites that are only minutes from home, work or school. Offices are staffed

    by highly qualified practitioners, including physi-cians, podiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, therapists, technicians and pharmacists.

    UHS Wilson Medical Center Johnson City, NY Designated as a 24-hour trauma, stroke and chest pain center, UHS Wilson is a 280-bed facility centrally located in Johnson City. It is a regional

    referral center for such high-level medical and surgical services as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and neurosciences, cancer care, maternity and high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, ambulatory surgery, diabetes education and care, blood disorders treatment, and physical therapy and rehabilitation.     UHS Binghamton General Hospital Binghamton, NY A 220-bed hospital, UHS Binghamton General provides general medical, surgical and rehabilitative care to the people of Greater Binghamton. It offers 24-hour emergency care and operates such major regional programs as orthopedic surgery, bariatric care, wound care, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, chemical dependency treatment service, behavioral health program, sleep center and gastroenterology laboratory.     UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Norwich, NY UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is a 138-bed hospital and senior living facility serving the Chenango County area. It offers inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services, emergency care, intensive care, cardiology, ortho-pedics, primary care and womens services. It also features maternity, physical therapy and rehabilitation, laboratory and diagnostic imaging.(607) 337-4111

    UHS is the Southern Tiers largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services. A locally owned, not-for-profit, 896-bed system, it is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors composed of community residents. Founded in Greater Binghamton in 1981, UHS was formed through the consolidation of three community hospitals - Ideal, Wilson and Binghamton General. Over the years it has grown to encompass four hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities, home care services, and physician practices at a total of 60 locations in Broome and surrounding counties.     UHS Delaware Valley Hospital Walton, NY A critical access, 25-bed facility serving Delaware and northern Sullivan counties, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital offers emergency care, inpatient medical and rehabilitation services, ambulatory care and an inpatient addiction treatment program. It also provides primary care, occupational health, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, cardipulmonary and rehabili-tation services.(607) 865-2100

    UHS Senior Living at Ideal Endicott, NY Located on a scenic campus on High Avenue in Endicott, Ideal is a full-service senior living environment. It currently includes a 150-bed skilled nursing facility, a 47-bed adult home, a 33-unit independent living apartment complex, a 23-bed assisted living area, and a special program for the elderly, disabled and others needing short- or long-term care in the home.     UHS Home Care Nationally recog-nized for quality, UHS Home Care provides nurses, aides and other spe-cialists for patients who need telemoni-toring, physical or

    occupational therapy, infusion or wound care in their own homes. Its services in-clude certified long-term home health, a home emergency alarm response system, Rehab at Home, Heart at Home and In Balance, all of which enhance quality of life.
