Paper Recycling
Office paper
Newspapers
magazines with glossy pages
plastic-lined paper drink cartons (food stained paper tissues/ napkins)

Plastics Recycling
All plastics have a number ranging 1-7 inside a triangle to categorize them from easy plastics to hard plastics.
Easy plastics are numbers 1 and 2, like soda and water bottles, milk bottles, bleach and detergent bottles.
Less commonly recycled plastics are numbers 3 to 6, like baby bottle nipples, shower curtains, Tupperware, Styrofoam, and plastic utensils.
The hardest to recycle it number 7, like baby bottles, sippy cups, water cooler bottles, or car parts.
Steel/Aluminum Recycling
Food Cans
aluminum cans
aluminum foil and foil packaging
paint cans and aerosol cans
Glass Recycling
Glass is recycled according to color: brown, green, clear (container glass)
lightbulbs, sheet glass, mirrors (may/may not be accepted)
fluorescent lightbulbs.
Trash Recycling
Can be recycled different ways.
In-vessel Composting: mixes food waste with garden waste to become compost for plants.
The second is anaerobic digestion: uses microorganisms to break down food waste, animal manure, and energy crops to generate electricity, heat, or fertilizer.
Electronic Recycling
Any electronic that plugs into a wall, has cords, or batteries.
Cell phones, laptops, computers, etc.
