Types of Charismatic Leaders
Charismatic leaders have been categorized into five types:
a)
Socialized charismatic Leadersb) Personalized charismatic Leaders
c) Office-holder charismatic Leaders
d) Personal (not personalized) charismatic Leaders
e)
Divine charismatic Leaders
a)
Socialized charismatic Leaders
• Socialized charismatic Leaders use power to benefit others.
•
They Attempts to bring group members’ values in line with his or hervalues.
• They Formulates and pursues goals that fulfill the needs of group members
and provide intellectual stimulation to them.
• Followers of socialized charismatic leadership are empowered, and
responsible.
b) Personalized charismatic
•
Personalized charismatic leaders use power to serve primarily their owninterests.
• Personalized charismatics impose self-serving goals on constituents, and
they offer consideration and support to group members only when it
facilitates their own goals.
• Followers of personalized charismatic leadership are typically obedient,
submissive, and dependent.
c) Office-holder charismatic
• The office-holder charismatic leaders attain their charisma chiefly from the
position they hold rather than of their personal characteristics.

Personal (not personalized) charismatic's
• Personal (not personalized) charismatic leaders gain very high esteem
through the faith; others have in them.

A personal charismatic exerts influence whether he or she occupies a low-or high-status position because he or she has the right traits,
characteristics, and behaviors.
e) Divine charismatic
• The divine charismatic was a theological concept.
• A divine charismatic was someone endowed with a gift of divine grace.
