6.6.1 DeratingThemaximumdutycycleofthevalvedependsonthemaximumambient temperatures and the current requiredby the steppermotor.

Thedutycycledoesnotrefertothedutycycleofthedevicebut to thedutycycleof themotor.This isnotswitchedonunlessthevalveistomove.Frequentset-pointvaluechangeswilldrasticallyincreasethedutycycleofthemotor.

Thederating curve canbeused to indicate themaximumdutycyclepermissible at the correspondingambient temperature.Alowerdutycyclemustbeselectedforhighmediumtemperatures.Byswitchingonthelowpowerfunctionahigherdutycyclecanbeachieved (Warning:during lowpower function,maxmediumpressureisreduced;ifviolatedValvewillnotmoveormalfunction).
