Twill Emblem Blanks are used in several production phases at Emblemtek, as the base substrate for the creation of Embroidered Text Emblems and name crests, SubliPrint™ Emblems, as well as vinyl transfer or sublimation name bars for sports jerseys. Utilizing similar embroidery, sublimation and heat seal transfer equipment, customers can create these types of finished products, in-house.

Produced with 100% polyester materials, Twill Emblem Blanks are usually finished with a Merrow border, made with 100% polyester embroidery threads. From a list of charted shapes and sizes, these blanks are manufactured with a choice of high-melt glue, low-melt glue or non-woven backings, and can be heat sealed or sewn onto a wide variety of garments and uniforms. The emblems are removable, and are industrial and commercial launderable, relative to backing type and application method.

Custom sizes and shapes are also available based on artwork specifications, and Twill Emblem Blanks can be produced without Merrow borders. Blanks can also be produced with high visibility materials, or flame resistant fabrics and threads, or with 3M™ reflective materials, all of which provide an added measure wearer visibility and protection to safety uniforms.
