Hope for the Future, Help them Today:

Our Seminarians Need Your Help: Thank you to those who have participated in the annual

Seminarian Collection. There is still time to respond to the

great need we have to support our local seminarians. Have

you made your gift? Let us see if we can increase our

support of this important part of the mission of the Diocese

of Green Bay. Disciples need to support one another. Make

your gift today by mailing in your pledge card to the

Diocese or visit www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give.

This will be year three that is entitled “Revelation of the

Father”. Taking a hard look at the realities of our modern

culture, Revelation of the Father seeks to transform

men in their relationship with their children.

It sets forth the vision of a child capable of making moral

decisions in light of significant pressure and integrates the

7 Steps with Don Bosco’s preventive method to help

parents develop a “parenting plan of life.”

FROM FR. JOE Our brothers and sisters to the

South, especially in the Houston area, have

been suffering under the rains and winds of

Hurricane Harvey. Many have died. In

order to help in the relief efforts, we will be

having a second collection this week. I just

received the request from Bishop Ricken.

Let's remember to pray for the safety of our fellow

Americans struggling and participating in the relief efforts.

We even have parishioners who have children and

relatives in the area. There are some great stories about

heroes saving the lives of others. I'm especially grateful for

the "Cajun Navy" as they call it. It's a flotilla of private

boats and boaters that are out and about pulling people

from homes, working closely with the police and national

guard. Let's all do our part to help too. God bless! ~Fr. Joe

PRAYER CORNER “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is

honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever

is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any

excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise,

think about these things” ~Philippians 4:8

Let us pray for all students, teachers, and academic

staff as the school year begins. May they be blessed

abundantly!
