100th Anniversary
Public Square Rosary Crusade
Saturday, October 14th,
from 12pm –1pm
at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church
In this historic year of the Fatima Cen-
tennial, the world is at a historic cross-
road. God is more offended than ever as people ignore
Our Lady’s maternal request to “stop offending God.”
Yes, we must listen to Our Lady’s request & stop sin-
ning if we hope to enjoy God’s blessings & to avert His
wrath. He will hear us, if we pray through the interces-
sion of His Blessed Mother.

The Stone That the
Builders Rejected
Has Become the
Cornerstone
I realize that having a parish as energetic as
ours with so many activities taking place, may give us
the feeling that time really flies. This past Sunday we
had the Festival of Christ the King; next Saturday we
are celebrating Our Lady of Aparecida with the Brazil-
ian community; we have been honoring our Lady of
Fatima on the 13th of each month since May; we re-
cently had the Golf fundraising event; we had a great
celebration of our Lady of Mount Carmel; and in no
time we will celebrating Thanksgiving, Our Lady of
Guadalupe, Christmas, and many other feasts and joy-
ful moments.
The list of events and celebrations does not
end; but the most important thing we must remember
is that we are a community of faith, and Jesus, Our
Lord, must be in the center of every celebration and
occasion we share. Nothing would make any sense if
we did not celebrate in the Name and for the Glory of
God. Jesus is the Cornerstone, the motivation for all of
our actions, and as long as all of these activities help
us to grow as a community, to become more united,
and to make us feel that we are ONE spiritual family,
ONE parish, then everything that is taking place in
Christ the King Parish is worthy.
Everything has to be about Jesus. Let us place
Him in the center of our lives, our plans and actions.
Then we will do God's will and advance in God's sal-
vation.
May Jesus be the Center of your family and
may the Blessed Mother be with us in this journey.
God bless all of you.
