Welcome to DZTVs new TV guide8 long months has past and the long anticipated on line scuba div-ing show is up and running, it took a while but the wait is finally
over, this is your guide to what is happening, and what will be com-
ing soon on Dive Zero TV.Well its the 2nd Dive Zero TV Guide, here to help make it easier for you to find all
the good stuff you want to see and when to turn on that ol PVR you have been dying
to finally use. It may be a bit on the rough side , but this is the first of its kind (that we know of) and well, it takes time to work out all the bugs and make it all good...right? In this issue some of the articles we are including are “Coming soon” a great way to now
in advance of whats up next month. There is also a cool article on “American Waters” a new book and documentary out by Alex Kirkwood, Alex travels the Americas to shoot the most unusual and bizarre places such as a cows watering hole at a ranch, ex-tremely fresh and very intriguing book. Then we cover one of our latest dive video
suppliers “Shark divers” and look at the work there doing to help Great Whites survive into the next century. And lastly,
who doesnt want to be a star, ever since grade school we
have been pretending to be film stars and great movie directors, well now is your chance to live a bit of that dream. We actively promote most videographers with
there quest on becoming a well known artist. We try to keep the quality of our programing to the best of our abilities, but then again...we are only a few
months old! Anyways, read up, film, submit and be-
come that star you always wanted to be!

About the projectIn 2002, underwater photogra-
pher Alex Kirkbride decided he wanted “an immense creative challenge”. He set out on a three-year journey across the United States with his producer and part-ner Hazel Todd, living together in an Airstream trailer and traveling over 100,000 miles to photograph underwater images from every state.
From flooded quarries and cran-berry bogs to freezing Alaskan waters and Elvis's swimming pool, Alex took a glorious and unique array of photographs. His creative approach and unerring technical ability enabled him to capture startling images - including the rare sight of a whale placenta and eerily still and beautiful wreck shots. The result is a collection of 150 imaginative photographs depicting the amazing variety and astonishing beauty of underwater worlds unseen by most people in their lifetime.
The photographs in the book are accompanied throughout with a compelling account of this American odyssey: the landscape, the challenges of non-stop driving and diving (he entered the water 945 times for a total of 732 hours), the hazardous weather and the memorable people encountered along the way.
'Anyone who picks up this volume expecting to see pretty travel photos is in for a surprise and a welcome one. Alex has the audacity to lead us into ponds and swimming pools and a variety of otherwise mundane places to show us art and nature framed by water'. Jean-Michel Cousteau

WHATS COMING UP & SUBMISSIONS
Who Is Dive Zero...Managing Director
Wally SchredlFor the past 18 years, This guy has been a full time Professional Diver, traveling the world, and living in Grand Cayman for over 7 years. Becoming one of the top PADI Plati-num Course Directors on the planet. Wally created and operated a very successful dive
instructor college program in Canada and the Cayman Islands. He's done it all... an accomplished U/W photographer and videographer, Boat Captain, Dive Operations Manager, Free Diver, Spearfisherman, Shark, Stingray and harbour seal wrestler (he is even known to feed 6ft green morays from his teeth)
Executive ProducerRob Lysak
Rob started off filming snowboarding and extreme sports in the snowy hills of the southern Albertan Rockies at Castle Mountain Ski Resort. Since then, he has added onto his extreme sports film-ing list with freestyle motocrossing and producing a skateboard video, which sold in 5 different con-tinents across the world. He has now brought his experience of filming and editing for the past 20 years, over to scuba diving. The sport of scuba
diving should be thanking Rob for his creativity and new angles that he has brought to the sport. Robs also a very accomplished underwater photogra-pher as well.
Director of OperationsLuke Boychuk
Growing up as a sponsored skateboarder, after highschool, Luke decided to change his life com-pletely 180 degrees around. He decided to be-come a scuba instructor. After completing the course, he decided that he would take up under-water filming instead. He came up with the idea of Dive Zero in late 2005, and has worked on it al-most everday since. The whole idea was to bring to scuba diving, what skateboarding, snowboard-ing and every other extreme sport has - a lifestyle.
When Luke is not working on Dive Zero, scuba diving, traveling, and get-ting through everyday scenarios that life brings, he still manages to find time to skateboard for his sponsors.
