Noong bata ako, apyok ako sa panghuhuli ng tutubi. Mapa tutubing karayom man otutubing kalabaw. Kalimitan silang nagsisilabas tuwing tag-ulan at kung saan palagingbasa ang mga damuhan. 'Dun sila nagtutumpukan sa may putikan. Lumalayo sila sa mgataong nagdadaan pero hinding hindi sila makakalayo sa mga batang tulad ko nanaghahabulan.

It was supposed to be a satirical outburst of the character named Jojo, a scholar in aState University relating to the few days after the declaration of Martial Law... but itended with an unresolved question that none of the characters answered to conclude thestory. I was born in 1994. Like most young people today, I didn’t experience martial law. And Idon’t know much about it and I only knew about it through TV documentaries. Youknow, those stuff they show on Knowledge Channel during February and September. Iwatched them every year, when I was in elementary.
