TUTORIAL CREATE PROJECT & BEST SERVER

1. Prepare site import make xml file fill make resolution OK

Make folder temp C:\temp Make sure map resolution is correct. For city area 20, island 50.

2. Open AIRCOM ENTERPRISE Suite

3. Make new project Start Project Add

Fill project name

Change Coordinate System :

Group Universal Transvesre Mercator

System The zone is depend on digital map

Datum WGS84

Fill Map data directories based on digital map

User data directories:

Make folders in your computer drive such as user preference, prediction, coverage array, and user line

Browse based on folder that already make

Browse Color palette in Program File AIRCOM International

ENTERPRISE 5.2 Common colours.txt

Map Data Extend Calculate OK

Start Project

4. Import xml file feeder

Browse xml feeder file

5. Import xml file Propagation Model same with no. 4 6. Import antenna file

Sign Add to all projects if all project use same antenna.

7. Commit Propagation Model

Commit all propagation models one by one

8. Commit feeder

Just commit all directly commit all feeder type

9. Commit Antenna

Just commit all directly commit all antenna type Commit Antenna only at the first time create project (in case all project use same antenna), others project unnecessary.

CREATE BEST SERVER

10. Import site

Browse xml site import file C:\temp Only select 3 file as below except Neighbors.xml

11. Insert Polygon

Put polygon file on user line folder

Make sure polygon coordinate is same with digital map coordinate

Select User Vectors Add Vector Fill name of vector

Select user line folder that contain polygon file

Right click and select import vector file

Select polygon file on user line folder

Delete previous vector file and save all

12. Open 2D View

Open Key/Legend

12. Show polygon and site

Data Types User Vectors select polygon

Data Types Filters select All

Click filters All Property, MSC, BSC select shape None

Make the polygon fit with 2D View using Zoom button Right click Favorites Save As

Fill name of Favorite

Change the color and label as needed using Add, Remove, and Modify button. The color below is just example for phase 1.

If want to calculate all site in 2D View select Sites and cells in view then click in 2D View

If want to calculate just selection site select Sites and cells in filter (selection) after select the selection site in 2D View

Make sure Filter is correct

Only select Best Server

Select Best Server Redraw

16. Export to MapInfo file (.TAB)

Browse file output directory

Select Generate TAB/DAT files

Coordinate project same with coordinate digital map

TUTORIAL CREATE C/I PLOT

1. Prepare site import fill Cell ID and BCCH column based on C/I database using vlookup expression make xml file.

2. Open Project in Aircom 3. Setting configuration C/I Plot

Select 1800

At General fill name BCCH-Layer select Control layer Apply and Commit

At Carriers select all Carriers Available move to right side Apply and Commit

At Carriers Layers Move BCCH-Layer to right side Apply Commit

At Serving and Interfering Cells select 4 items as below

4. Import Site that already prepare BCCH and CI procedure same with no. 10 Create Best Server

6. Create Arrays make sure Filter is correct and select Best Server, Worst Interferer and Total Interference

7. Set C/I service level select Total Interference and double click

Select interference units C/I and Change color and level dB

Set color and level dB as below (for all region except Balikpapan)

TUTORIAL CREATE AIRCOM PICTURE (Coverage Plot and C/I Plot)

1. Create Arrays just for site around the polygon then only select Best server Coverage Plot only Best Server

C/I Plot Best Server, Worst Interferer and Total Interference

2. Create Polygon that want to create picture

Select User Vectors Add Vector and Fill name of vector

Select user line folder that contain polygon file

Select tes.tab click Shape

Follow polygon line until back to start. Then double click at the start. Close Drawing Box

User Vectors Select polygon (tes) Double click at polygon (tes) setting the width of polygon Apply If needed also can change Color and Style of polygon

Create polygon that want to calculate

Create Best Server only for site around polygon

Right Click at Best server select Statistic

Analysis Area Restrict polygon by select only polygon that want to calculate

Report Section also restrict the polygon

TUTORIAL CREATE FILTER

1. Prepare Site Import base on OnAir site list Give sign n for not OnAir site and sign y for OnAir site create xml file

2. Open Project in Aircom 3. Setting configuration Filter

Fill filter name n for not OnAir and y for Onair

Select ID move to right side

Click Cell Site ID select Operator Contains Fill sign n

Filter Type select Dynamic

Element Types select All Types

At General Uncheck Property, MSC, and BSC At Cell Site Shape circle (1), Line and Fill color is Black (follow this configuration)

4. Make filter again for OnAir Site the configuration is same with not OnAir Site but different color (follow this configuration)

5. Import Site that already prepare procedure same with no. 10 Create Best Server

7. Calculate Pathloss Prediction only OnAir Site 8. Create Best Server
