BEGIN COOKING (CONTINUED) Press Mode to choose Bake, Broil, Toast, Bagel, Pizza or Cookies. Select Optional Convection. (For Bake, Pizza or Cookie modes only) Select Optional Defrost . (For Pizza, Cookies, Toast or Bagel modes only) Set the Time or # of Slices . (Right to increase, left to decrease) Set the Temperature or Shade Level*. Insert food once chime sounds and temperature/preheat is no longer blinking on the oven display. Remove food once timer ends and chime sounds. FOR TOAST OR BAGEL MODES Insert toast or bagels directly on oven rack. (When toasting less than 4 slices of bread, make sure that the slices are positioned directly over the heating elements and not across the middle of the oven rack) Press Start to begin the toasting process . Hand wash and dry oven rack and nonstick baking pan. Reinsert oven rack. Plug into outlet. GETTING STARTED Operate oven empty for one cooking cycle to burn off residual manufacturing oils. Set temperature to 450˚F and time to 10 minutes. Press Start . Allow oven to cool prior to next cooking cycle. BEGIN COOKING Choose rack position. CANCELING A CYCLE Press Start/Cancel . The oven stops cooking and the display resets, returning to the last setting. TURNING OVEN OFF Press Start/Cancel . The oven automatically goes into sleep mode after 3 minutes of inactivity. Oven may remain plugged in, if desired. To completely shut off all power to the oven, unplug from the wall. REAL TIME TEMPERATURE DISPLAY The convection oven is equipped with real time temperature feedback. The LCD will display the current oven temperature during the pre-heating phase in order to communi- cate the pre-heat progress of the oven. Once the oven temperature stabilizes to the desired set point, the oven will no longer display real time temperature feedback. The temperature control of the oven is designed to be highly accurate in order to achieve optimal cooking results. As a result, you will hear the thermostat turning On and Off periodically indicating that the oven is maintaining accurate temperature control.
