How to Create a Homepage for Safari (iPhone/iPad iOS 10) You cannot set a home page for your Safari browser on your iPhone like you can on the browser on your computer. Below are instructions for the best work-around. This process is shown on iPhone 6s with iOS 10, and works the same on iPad.

1. Open Safari, navigate to desired “home page” (in this example getturnertime.com). 2. Tap “Share” icon (bottom center of screen). 3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”.

This image shows where you will select “Add to Home Screen”. The icon is a mini picture of the

web page you are saving. This is the icon that will be placed on your Home screen.

4. Rename the icon if you like (this will help to identify the new icon that will be on your home screen).

How to Move New Icon to Dock Replacing the existing Safari icon with the new one you just created, will help you always access your new Home Page every time. Swap the two icons in the “Dock” (the bottom 4 icons on your iPhone is the “Dock).

1. Tap and hold the new icon. (This will start all the icons shaking and they can be

moved or deleted). 2. Drag the Safari icon from dock to a blank space on a home page (to make room for

your new Home Page icon in the “Dock”).

3. Drag the new icon into the dock. 4. Tap “Home” button to save changes.

Now you can open Safari to your desired web page by tapping the new icon in your dock. The Safari icon will remain on the home screen where you moved it.
