The Tuono 1000 R stands out at irst glance or its unmistakable style, and sel-evident aerodynamics and ergonomics. The nose airing has been developed in the wind tunnel andcombines an enviably aggressive look with a su perior level o protection. But thats not all! The shape o the nose airing helps improve stability at high speeds, working in conjun ctionwiththe spoilers on the sides o the rame. The riders seating position is decidedly race-oriented, and conceived to ensure absolute control over the ront end without atigue, assistingconcentration and more eective handling. As agile as an idea, as powerul as anemotion, the Tuono 1000 R simply hasno rivals when it comes to handling. Andhandling is the secret o its adrenalinepumping racetrack victories and its totalrideability on the road. The Tuonos agilityis the result o perect balance, perectsymbiosis between rider and bike, and aperect mix o lightness and rigidity in therame. Instant response and intuitive controlis always yours, at all times and under allriding conditions.

The frame is a clever combination of aluminium-siliconcastings and Peraluman 450 pressings, a solution thatgives superior structural rigidity and a total weight of less

than 10 Kg. The aluminium swingarm, with its doublebanana design to provide space for the new exhaustsystem, is extremely lightweight and robust.

The suspension creates the ideal balance betweenracetrack performance and road-going comfort, and isfully adjustable for a completely personal setup. The 43mm upside down fork provides adjustments for springload and hydraulic damping. The monoshock at t he rearoffers adjustments for extension damping and springpreload.

The Brembo Gold front brakes feature four-piston radialcalipers with two pads per side for improved brakingcontrol with no extra effort at the lever. Both the front andrear brakes incorporate aeronautical metal braided hosefor maximum precision.

The digital-analog instrumentation is an integral part of theTuonos auto-diagnostic system. The instruments are connectedto the CAN engine management line and incorporate their ownmemory to form a genuine on-board computer. The Tuono 1000 R Factory is equippedas standard with a 190/55 rear tyre formaximum agility and grip on the racetrack.The bike is also fully homologated for190/50 (standard) tyres.
